An Influential Ancient Greek Philosopher Once Said...

Greek Philosopher, Plato

"The beginning is the most important part of the work." - Plato

In the context of presentations, the beginning of the presentation is when individuals have full control of the audience; it gives the presenters the chance to appeal to their audience on the subject matter. In addition, the beginning of the presentation gives the presenter discretion on how to approach the topic.

The question however remains as to what can an individual do, in order to appeal the audience members?

The context of this blog will be organized into five different topics, which will further elaborate the techniques for gaining and keep audience attention:
  • Establish Credibility
  • Be Clear
  • Be Concise
  • Be Confident
  • Be Creative
